For those of us that have been spending every waking hour shoveling, sliding on, losing sleep over, and missing work because of the constant snow fall March 20 was a historic day. Warmer temps are beginning to arrive all across the country as the first day of spring officially arrived!
Like a rabid dog who has been scratching at the door begging to get out, the time has finally come for all those bikers out there to pull their bikes out of the shed and ride till the wheels fall off. Before you can feel the sunshine on your face and the wind in your hair though, that motorcycle isn’t the only thing that needs to get prepared for the good times ahead.

 Say what you want about Hollywood and those that keep us glued to the latest tabloid covers at the checkout line, but one thing that cannot be denied is they are the true yardstick for measuring when a fad has officially taken over the world. Lately it seems that more and more Minnetonka moccasins have been turning heads and popping up in some of the oddest places.
On the feet of the children of legendary performers. The name Lourdes Leon may not mean much to the Average Joe, but her very famous mother is responsible for changing the face of music forever. Daughter of the always in fashion Madonna, Lourdes was spotted just this month sporting a pair of Minnetonka Thunderbird moccasins.

 ‘Tis the season to be jolly’ and if you think about it some of the jolliest people around are those in our communities that jump on their motorcycles come rain, sleet, or snow simply for the love of the ride. One of the things that makes Christmas one of our favorite holidays is the feeling that comes from giving gifts to our loved ones and to strangers who may be in need this time of year.

 For the 138 million expected to hit the malls and shopping centers the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday is the most important shopping day of the year.
For months shoppers have been waiting with anticipation of just what this year’s crop of sales will offer each hoping to be the first in line to get that perfect gift at the perfect price.
Ask any of the millions that will be found standing in line in freezing temps at 3 A.M. this Friday and they will tell you that gift giving is serious business. The question must be asked though, why would you brave the lines and the weather when you can accomplish shopping online and find the same great deals?

 You may not have noticed it, but the next time you’re out in public take a look around. What you should find is that there are babies everywhere! Screaming, laughing, crying, cooing babies literally all over the place. The reason is that of all the months of the year August typically features the highest birthrate.
Now I realize its October, but all of those babies that were born two months ago are just now making their way outdoors. Whether they have a newborn boy or girl, every parent’s favorite thing to do is dress their little one up in cool outfits and show them off for all to see.

Choosing a motorcycle is like choosing your soul mate. It takes time and tons of research to find your one true love, but once you set eyes on it you just know that is the bike you are meant to spend the rest of your life with. Just like when you are with that girl of your dreams, when riding down the open road you want to make sure you look your best even if down deep inside you know the bike is the one people will be staring at. As high up the priority list as looking good is though, being safe on your bike is second to none. At speeds of 65-75 mph you need as much protection as you can get between you and the asphalt. This is why picking out a good helmet is just as important as choosing between beach bars and ape hangers.
