If you’re lucky enough to live in an area where motorcycle riding is comfortable and warm all year round, then we hope you’re out enjoying those rides for the rest of us.
But if you live in a place that calls for winter motorcycle storage, we’ve got some tips to follow so your bike can get up and running quickly when you pull out your motorcycle jacket next spring:
1. Remove Your Battery – Whether it’s for one month or four, even when your battery is not in use, its charge is continually being sapped by the electrical instruments on your bike. When putting your motorcycle into storage disconnect the battery completely.

For motorcycle riders heading out of New Jersey, it’s a straight ninety-minute ride to the Big Apple. We’re going to bypass the city though and take you through our handpicked selection of regional motorcycle routes. Pack your motorcycle jacket for some of America’s greatest scenic rides.
Hudson Valley – The Hudson Valley cuts a narrow swath from northern Westchester County to the state’s capitol, Albany. The natural beauty of the Valley is often compared to the 40-mile stretch along Germany’s Rhine River valley. A similar 30-mile stretch between Dutchess and Columbia counties is registered as a National Historic Landmark.

For those of us that have been spending every waking hour shoveling, sliding on, losing sleep over, and missing work because of the constant snow fall March 20 was a historic day. Warmer temps are beginning to arrive all across the country as the first day of spring officially arrived!
Like a rabid dog who has been scratching at the door begging to get out, the time has finally come for all those bikers out there to pull their bikes out of the shed and ride till the wheels fall off. Before you can feel the sunshine on your face and the wind in your hair though, that motorcycle isn’t the only thing that needs to get prepared for the good times ahead.
